Service Description: Fife Council historic flood records
Fife Council have provided their historic flood incident dataset to inform this Stage 1 SFRA addendum, which includes multiple sources of flooding. This information is deemed as sensitive and therefore has been aggregated to community council scale, as shown in this layer The locations experiencing the greatest number of properties being impacted by flooding coincide with the more densely populated areas of Fife. This includes St. Andrews, Cupar, Rosyth and Cowdenbeath. Blank areas does not mean that the community council area has never experienced flooding, only that records of historic flooding do not exist.
